Bilingual Community Organizer (Queens)
ABOUT AURILUZ
As the CTC Community Organizer for Queens, Auriluz builds relationships with community members, nonprofit leaders, and other stakeholders to work towards developing strategies that will address the needs of youth and families. She joined the Foundling because of its rich history in child welfare and commitment to improving our society. In the future, she hopes to become a Consultant within the government and public sector, while continuing grassroots organizing in her community.
Auriluz is from and currently resides in Bushwick, Brooklyn where she previously attended the High School for Health Professions and Human Services. She later received her Bachelors in Human Development and a Masters in Human Rights from Binghamton University. Auri is currently pursuing her MBA at Pace University. Her role models are her parents as they are strong, caring individuals that encourage her to find light in every situation.
