Elizabeth Tremblay (Liz)
Assistant Vice President
As Assistant Vice President, Elizabeth oversees and advances the programs of the SFC Center. She joined The Foundling because she was drawn to its mission and vision, and its deep roots working in New York City’s communities. Elizabeth is passionate about amplifying the voices of families and youth, destigmatizing mental health issues, and breaking down barriers to increase access to services. She is driven to use her natural ‘people skills’ to advocate and push for change.
Elizabeth is originally from New Hampshire and now lives in Manhattan. She earned her Bachelors degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice from College of Saint Rose, and a MA in Forensic Mental Health Counseling from John Jay College and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York State. In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys listening to music, playing basketball, game nights with friends, and taking walks – especially around Randall’s Island. Her role models are her parents, who helped her see the power in advocacy.
