Linda Machuca

ABOUT LINDA

With previous experience in the Ecuadorian National Assembly and having served as the Consul General of Ecuador in New York, Linda Machuca is excited to join the SFC Team as the CTC Supervisor. In this role, she will be responsible for strategizing different ways to engage our communities and support the CTC Coordinators in all of their endeavors. She joined The New York Foundling because she shares the organization’s values and wants to contribute her own life experiences to building a more equitable society. Linda is passionate about community work and politics, especially on issues regarding women and immigration.

Linda is originally from Ecuador, and she currently lives in Westchester County. She holds a Bachelors in Communications from Cuenca Public University, and a Masters Degree in Global Affairs, with a concentration on Diplomacy and International Relations from Fairleigh Dickinson University. On her free time, Linda enjoys cultivating orchids, practicing yoga, and reading books written by women.
