ABOUT JORWELL

As the Director of Communications and Outreach, Jorwell strategizes with the SFC team to improve our engagement with the communities and organizations we serve. He joined the Foundling because he wanted to develop his strategic communications skills with an organization that is positively impacting New York City through community development and social services. Jorwell works on integrating creative design and marketing in order to increase to SFC Center’s exposure throughout the city.

Jorwell is originally from the Bronx, but now lives in Manhattan. He graduated from Binghamton University with a degree in Human Development and Political Science and is currently pursuing an M.A in Public Media & Strategic Communications at Fordham University. In his free time, Jorwell likes to travel, try out new restaurants, and spend time with friends. He looks up to Telfar Clemens and Alexandra Ocasio Cortes because they both fight for social justice while staying true to their authentic selves.
