Evidence Based Models Implementation

The Strong Families and Communities Training Center provides support in implementing Evidence-Based Parenting Models to the New York City social service work force. Our Center believes implementation support of Evidence-Based practices will improve the lives of families and children serviced by social service agencies through an increased quality of care and professional development for the organizations supporting them.

In the past five years the SFC has assisted over 30 agencies in the implementation of Circle of Security, Incredible Years, SPARK Teen Mentoring and Parenting Journey. Each year new models are added to our roaster of programs we offer implementation support.

Work Force Training

The Strong Families and Communities Training Center aims to support a broad range of social service and mental health professionals within NYC. We offer workshops on specific topics that are helpful to social service providers as they provide service to families in New York City. Some of our Mental Health focused workshops offer CEU credits for certain licensed professionals (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, PsyD, PhD).
