Evidence Based Models Implementation

The Strong Families and Communities Training Center provides support in implementing evidence-based parenting models to the New York City social service work force.  The Strong Families and Communities Training center believes implementation support of evidence-based practices will improve the lives of families and children serviced by social service agencies. The SFC hopes to expand the scope and quality of the care to those that need it most.   The Center’s approach to implementation support is collaborative, inclusive, and interactive.   Each year the SFC hosts training and follow up support on Blueprints for Healthy Families (https://www.blueprintsprograms.org) approved parenting models.  In the year 2021-2022 the training center hosted a group of 60 social services professionals in training in the Circle of Security Model.  Along with hosting the training the Center offered post training support to those who participated in the program.   Please join our mailing list and visit our website frequently for updates on upcoming parenting model training.
