Assistant Vice President
ABOUT VIVIANE
As Assistant Vice President, Viviane oversees and advances the different programs of the SFC Center. She joined The Foundling because she has always had a deep passion of working within the community. Throughout her undergraduate experience, Viviane was a part of many student-led organizations, that focused on diversity and cultural recognition, which she connected to as someone from African decent and being a first-generation college student. In her adulthood, the passion remains the same; advocacy and constant move towards positive change in everything that she does.
Viviane is originally from Burkina Faso, West Africa but she grew up in the Highbridge section of the Bronx. She now lives in New Jersey and enjoys how moving out of the city has allowed her to connect more with nature. She earned her undergraduate degree in Sociology and Theatre from Buffalo State College, and a MA in Mental Health Counseling from LIU Brooklyn and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York State. In her free time, Viviane enjoys spending time with her close friends, traveling, and overall being out in nature with her furry babies & family.
